Day 1, Berlin

Start the day with your private guide exploring Unter den Linden on foot. Its history began 350 years ago when the Elector Frederic William planted the first trees on the road between his castle to Tiergarten, his hunting lodge. Walk to the Gendarmenmarkt, Friedrichstrasse, with its luxury shops, cafés and restaurants. On the corner see the exhibition space "Deutsche Guggenheim Berlin" with modern and contemporary art. Pass the former Soviet Embassy with its gigantic dimensions. The last stop at Brandenburg Gates- the symbol of the German reunification. Its restored quadriga is shining in all its splendour again and not much reminds now about the Wall.

Day 2, Berlin

Meet your guide and using excellent public transportation visit Charlottenburg castle, which was a present of Frederic III to his wife Charlotte. Its Baroque Chambers, famous porcelain cabinet, Throne Hall and excellent collection of paintings will be a big enjoyment for you. The castle park itself is an interesting example of a garden -architecture.

In the afternoon visit Kurfürstendamm, which is the heart of Berlin. The legendary, prestigious KaDeWe department store, opened in 1907, is the biggest shopping centre of Germany. Later walk to Potsdamer Place – the new town in town with an impressive history and architecture, as well as the oldest traffic light.

Day 3, Berlin

Morning start with Alexanderplatz. Its Television Tower is more than 1,000 feet high. A revolving restaurant tempts the customers with a fantastic panorama of Berlin. Next to the Red Town Hall and the Nicolai quarter, which are the origin of Berlin. You can’t miss the Jewish district with it’s small streets and typical backyards. In the afternoon visit the word famous complex of Pergamon museums. Its Marble Altar belongs to one of the wonders of the world. The final highlight will be the Reichstag in the new Parliament and Government quarter. This historic building unites the old and the new. You can visit the new glass dome to have a bird view of Berlin.
